Figurative - Paintings, Drawings and Prints

Like many artists throughout history, Warfield was deeply intrigued by the limitless, fascinating forms and variations of the human body. She taught Figure Drawing for many years and continued to draw from live models throughout her life.

She also drew and painted many portraits of people involved in various activities. Her output ranged in scale from intimate pencil sketches, and 4” x 4” pastels, to 4’ x 6’ drawings, some involving an innovative collage treatment using a number of individual figure drawings ripped and cut, then pasted, and pieced together to create a final work of art.
