Animals (1970-2016)

A recurring interest throughout her career, was observing and portraying animals in their natural surroundings. She filled many sketchbooks with drawings done on the spot, at farms, zoos, circuses, and in the wild. She made in-depth studies of many different species, such as birds, cows, dogs, pigs, rabbits, sheep, elephants, and even fish. Over the years she transformed these into finished paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture.
