Warfield also created many large, unique sculptures composed of fiber over steel armatures, comprised of thousands of individual knots. She chose different sizes and shapes of knots to create a variety of organic patterns, and to create volume, form, and even movement. The results were a series of intriguing and imposing sculptures.
